Band Information

No one can ever accuse this female-fronted Seattle trio of being slackers. Formed in 2000, The Amazombies already have 3 U.S. tours under their belts as well as a self-released EP. Now they're back again with 12 blazing new songs to stimulate your eager little ears.
"Bitches and Stitches" showcases the band's unique mesh of musical styles; old school '77 roots with an street-punk edge and a bit of pop-punk thrown in to lend a catchy, fun quality to the music.

The band is musically tight, complete with dynamic drumming, scorching guitar and jagged bass lines- but it's impossible to deny that the vocals are a huge reason for the appeal of The Amazombies. Lead singer Kim has a thick melodic voice (ala Joan Jett) and is often complimented by Noriko's energetic backups. Hell, even the lone guy member, Josh, kicks in his vox on "That's Right!"

"Bitches and Stitches" has the kind of infectious flavor that is quickly sweeping the U.S. punk scene off of its collective ass via the Pacific Northwest, as seen in bands like the Briefs and the Pretty Girls Make Graves. Anyone care to dance?

"Bitches and Stitches"
These two females and one guy from Seattle are causing quite a stir on the West Coast. Totally kick-ass street-punk rock and roll with sultry vocals that go from purring kittens to raging hellcats without warning. They just finished up some dates with punk rock superstars GBH, Circle Jerks and Toxic Narcotic. Bitches And Stitches was recorded by the legendary Conrad Uno (Mudhoney, Zeke, Supersuckers, The Presidents of the United States of America) at Egg Studios in Seattle. Look out for constant touring from Amazombies very soon!

Press Quotes
"With extensive touring under their belts, sharp, well-crafted songs reminiscent of the Bangs or Stiff Little Fingers, and hugely charismatic front women Kim and Noriko Zombie, it's only a matter of time before this band becomes the next big thing that the hip kids didn't have a clue about." The Stranger
