Finally... GK Europe Releases invade the rest of the world!
In the past few years, we released some great records on Go-kart Europe that we loved so much we wanted to share them with the rest of the world... And well... it’s about time. The first two albums we plan to release to the rest of the world are coming from Holland’s own Bambix and Ira from Germany.

Bambix is a kick ass female fronted punkrock trio that have been around for over ten years now, establishing quite a name for themselves in Europe, but also in Brazil where they have toured several times already and even had a gig at the Brazilian MTV studios. Their fifth full-length “Club Matuchek” was released in Europe in 2004 already and offers 13 intense, melodic and energetic punkrock songs that you surely can’t resist. Bambix's "Club Matucheck" will be released on 9/19/06!

Check out the track Leaking Fuel taken from “Club Matuchek” here:

“Melodic, inspired in terms of content, with a fiery drive.” – Rock Sound
“It really is an album full of catchy energy, raw parts mixed with melody and hooks, and topped with some honest forceful vocals.” – PunkUpdates
“A first-class effort and definitely worth a gander, "Club Matuchek" is a classic straight up punk album.” – EuroPunk

And then we have something quite different from Ira...

‘Soft melancholy meets metallic sound landscapes paired with energetic hardcore’. This is one way to describe the five charismatic musicians behind the band from Lake Constance, Germany. . Ira will blow you away - Ira will let you relax. Ira will show you how progressive and modern guitar music somewhere between Sonic Youth, Mogwai, Godspeed You Black Emperor and Neurosis has to sound like. Ira's "The Body and The Soil" will be released on 10/10/06

Still don’t know what to expect? Then check out the track “Long Live The Parts II” taken from Ira’s debut album “The Body And The Soil” here:

“I'm scared but comfortably so.” – Rock Sound
“The outstanding thought which has been channelled in to their debut effort leaves ira as one of the most absorbing new ensembles around.” – IAteYourMicrophone.com
“Ira will succeed with being in your head forever.” – poisonfree.com
