1. Do you accept demos / are you currently signing bands?
Yes we do, but please don't contact us about it. To be blunt, we receive craploads of demos and press packages every day. It takes a long time to listen to every single one, but eventually we do it. If we hear something that interests us, we’ll contact you. Otherwise, you're probably too talented to be on Go-Kart anyway. The address to send stuff to is: Go-Kart, P.O. Box 20, Prince St. Station, New York, NY 10012.

2. Are you affiliated with a major?
No! Go-Kart is owned by one person: Greg. All final decisions are made by him, or in some cases, Murray the Go-Kat. However, we would like to make clear that people need to stop being caught up in the ideology of “indies vs majors,” especially when it comes to distribution. We have worked with so-called "punk" distributors with tons of street credibility and have been royally ripped off too many times to count. It comes down to people. In the end that's what matters to us.

3. I run a distro - who do I contact?
We get tons of email and letters from kids who sell stuff at shows and have small distros that want to get stuff from us. The person to contact is Greg, and his email is greg@_remove_GokartRecords.com. Here’s the catch - we don't work on consignment, so you have to pay up front for what you want to take. Later on we can give you credit for items you want to return (within reason). We do like to work with smaller distros but hey, we also don't like being ripped off.

4. I have a zine, who do I contact about ads and records to review?
General Press please contact Nicole (nicole@_remove_gokartrecords.com). It helps a lot if you send an actual copy of your zine! The address to send stuff to is Go-Kart, PO Box 20, Prince Street Station, New York, NY 10012.
If you run a webzine please make sure to send us a detailed description of your webzine (focus/url/contact information etc.) including circulation (visitors/pageviews/length of stay etc.).

5. Who designed the new Website / I have a problem with the website
David Link david@_remove_GokartRecords.com was responsible for development and re-design of the new webpage.

6. I work at a college radio station with a punk rock / hardcore show, etc. Who do I contact about promotional CDs?
To be honest, we don't service a lot of radio stations anymore. Nothing personal, but you guys all seem to like the boring and pretentious crap that we hate. BUT if you have a COOL show, send us some info (like a playlist or two) and we’ll consider it. We do have a few radio stations on our regular mailing list that are Go-Kart worthy! If you think that you have what it takes, write to nicole@_remove_gokartrecords.com.

7. Can you send me free stuff?
How can we put this gently... HELL NO! Look, we’re nice people but we also have bills to pay. If you want a catalog, and the one on the web ain't good enough, send us a self-addressed stamped envelope. Same goes for stickers. It’s a matter of consideration; after all… we ain't a major label.

8. How's Murray?
He is fine. His weight loss is not going well, but he’s got a positive attitude. His new band should be ready to play some shows soon! You can check out his website at http://www.gokartrecords.com/murray

9. I love Go-Kart Records! I would love to intern for them. But how do I go about that?
We are currently not looking for interns. Check back from time to time to see if this has changed.

10. How can I contact Go-Kart?
